From: Kerry Cronin Date: Tue, Mar 17, 2020 at 11:31 AM Subject: [allcons] Daily Reporting Requirements While CFPL is Closed To: 'allcons@minlib.net' (allcons@minlib.net) Dear Colleagues, At yesterday’s SMT meeting, the Town Manager advised that we need to assume that the current restrictions related to COVID-19 will be in place for 30 days. As such, we will be placing limits on the number of people that can work in the office and will only be allowing personnel in to complete essential functions, to be defined and delineated this week. Unless you hear directly from me, or your immediate supervisor, you should not report to work. Instead, each day by 9AM, please report your status to your division manager. Your status should be reported as one of the following: * Status 1- available to work, either in the office or from home, if called upon; or working from home or office (with appropriate permission) * Status 2- unavailable to work due to COVID-19 illness, self or family member, or participating in directed or suggested quarantine due to exposure to person with confirmed or presumed positive illness * Status 3- unavailable to work due to illness (other than that covered in Status 2) or other planned leave * * Status 4- participating in social distancing or self-isolation out of concern for exposure of self or family member Employees reporting as Status 1 or 2 will be paid for all regularly scheduled hours. Employees reporting as Status 3 will be required to use accrued leave (sick, personal or vacation) or unpaid leave, as appropriate. Employees reporting as Status 4 will be required to use accrued leave, charged in the following order: * compensatory time * personal * sick * vacation * unpaid Departmental supervisors are not allowed to ask any further follow-up questions if an employee reports as Status 2 or Status 3, but must immediately report to me any employee reporting as Status 2 so that I can notify the Health Director (Susan Rask). The Health Director may follow up directly with any employee reporting as Status 2. By 10AM each day, Supervisors will need to compile the daily status of their workforce and forward it to me. CFPL supervisors, please fill out the information for yesterday and today and forward it to me as soon as possible. Please be in touch with any questions. My best wishes to you and your families during this challenging and uncertain time. Kerry Kerry E.
